After researching several PMI accredited training institutes, I chose PMCOE based upon their packaged resources and stellar reviews. It was great to discuss real world agile implementations
We interviewed Susan Sutcliffe. Susan recently completed our DASM Certification Course.
- Please tell us about yourself. e.g your name, location, hobby, your professional/personal achievements so far?
My name is Susan Sutcliffe. I currently reside in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, although my address may change when I discover my next professional role.
I am an inquisitive and tenacious Business Analyst professional with 8+ years of progressive experience facilitating business solutions that deliver value.
My passion for continuous improvement is a part of my nature, whether that is personal development or making systems and processes better for people. It tickles my brain and I enjoy it
2. What did you study with PMCOE and what was your reason for taking the course?
Recently at PMCOE, I completed the Digital Agile Scrum Master Certification course. The content was not new to me.
As a lifelong learner, I enjoy learning, applying and mastering subjects. When I use that mastery to optimize success, that’s what gives me my job satisfaction.
I decided to attend the DASM course at PMCOE to receive certification credentials so that employers know how I can contribute value.
Their “Choose your WOW” handbook is an impressive differentiator
3. How do you plan to utilise your newly acquired knowledge?
As more organizations implement the Agile Methodology or some hybrid version of WAgile, I know that I will be better equipped to communicate to executive decision makers and contribute to agile teammates the contextual benefits of approaches and tools that will optimize success.
Like I share in Masters’ Dog Agility training, you need all the tools in your toolbox and then you need to know when to use them, or not. That’s context. That’s the ART!
4. How would you describe your learning experience at PMCOE?
After researching several PMI accredited training institutes, I chose PMCOE based upon their packaged resources and stellar reviews.
I appreciated the experience and expertise of the trainer. It was great to discuss real world agile implementations and challenges in context and gain insights from my peers in the course.
Their “Choose your WOW” (way of working) handbook is an impressive differentiator that is a great go-to resource for context and optimizing agile implementation that will allow me to add even more value to my organization and customers
